A health counselor is a nutrition coach, wellness expert, and source of support for clients who are ready to take responsibility for their own health. This approach takes into consideration not only the food we eat, but how satisified we are in other areas of our life such as career, personal relationships, and finding physical activity that we enjoy. People who choose to work with health counselors have a high rate of success in achieving their health goals in areas such as weight management, food cravings, sleep, energy, and stress management.
