Getting Started Your initial visit will include a comprehensive health evaluation and your first acupuncture treatment. After the consultation, you will receive a treatment plan that includes the techniques to be used and the estimated frequency. Factors such as length and severity of the condition, as well as the individual’s constitution, will affect each person’s recommended treatment. Follow-up sessions are typically scheduled on a weekly basis, then moved further apart until the desired response is achieved.
